Dates and Number of Candidates

IMPCB examinations were held in Vienna

• (a) Part I examinations (General Medical Physics),
  (b) Part II (Specialty: Radiation Oncology Physics) examinations, and
  (c) Part II (Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiological Physics) examinations
  for individual medical physicists in June 2019.
• The Part I examinations (General Medical Physics) took place on Thursday, June 20 at 8:00 to 11:00 am.
• The Part II examinations took place on Friday, June 21 at 2:00 to 5:00 pm for Radiation Oncology Physics.
• No one applied to sit the Part II examinations for Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiological Physics.
• Deadline for expression of interest to take the exam:  April 12, 2019.
• Deadline for submission of application: April 26, 2019.
• Six candidates were approved for the Part I examinations. Only 5 took the exams.
• Six candidates were approved for the Part II examinations on RO. One of them postponed. Five took the exams.
