Dates and Candidates

The Executive Committee has approved the following Exam Session:

• IMPCB held
  (a) Part I examinations (General Medical Physics),
  (b) Part II (Specialty: Radiation Oncology Physics) examinations,
  (c) Part II (Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiological Physics) examinations, and
  (d) Part III (Oral in both specialties: Radiation Oncology Physics, and Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiological Physics) examinations
  for individual medical physicists in February 2020.
• The Part I examinations (General Medical Physics) were on Saturday, February 8 at 9:00 am to noon.
• The Part II examinations were on Sunday, February 9 at 9:00 am to noon for Radiation Oncology Physics and for Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiological Physics.
• The Part III examinations were on appointed times on February 8 or 9. Note: Candidates were given 3-hour appointments by Dr Siyong Kim early December 2019.
• Deadline for expressing interest to take the exam:  December 6, 2019 for Part I and II, and November 6, 2019 (extended to November 20) for Part III.
• Deadline for submission of application: December 20, 2019 for Part I and II, and November 20 for Part III.
• Those need visa application help were advised to apply before November 20.
• 18 candidates sat the Part I exam.
• 10 candidates sat the Part II RO exam.
• 4 candidates sat the Part II Dx exam.
• 14 candidates sat the Part III RO exams.
• 2 candidates sat the Part III Dx exams.
