Dates and Candidates

The Executive Committee has approved the following:

• IMPCB held
  (a) Part I examinations (General Medical Physics),
  (b) Part II (Specialty: Radiation Oncology Physics) examinations, and
  (c) Part II (Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiological Physics) examinations
  for individual medical physicists in February 2019.
• The Part I examinations (General Medical Physics) was on Saturday, February 9 at 9:00 to noon.
• The Part II examinations was on Sunday, February 10 at 9:00 to noon for Radiation Oncology Physics.
• The Part II examinations for Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiological Physics was on Sunday, February 10 at 9:00 am to noon.
• Deadline for expression of interest to take the exam was:  December 2, 2018.
• Deadline for submission of application was: December 16, 2018.
• Visa issuance assistance provided by the Radiation Medicine Symposium.
• 25 candidates sat the Part I Exam.
• 9 candidates sat the Part II RO Exam.
• 2 candidates sat the Part II Dx Exam.
