Dates and Candidates

The Executive Committee has approved the following:

• IMPCB offered
  (a) Part I examinations (General Medical Physics),
  (b) Part II (Specialty: Radiation Oncology Physics) examinations, and
  (c) Part II (Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiological Physics) examinations
  for individual medical physicists in September 2019.
• The Part I examinations (General Medical Physics) took place on Friday, September 6 at 1:00 to 4:00 pm (13:00 to 16:00).
• The Part II examinations took place on Saturday, September 7 at 10 am to 1 pm (10:00 to 13:00).
• Deadline for expressing interest to take the exam was  July 4, 2019.
• Deadline for submission of application was July 18, 2019.
• 4 candidates sat the Part I Exam.
• 3 candidates sat the Part II Exam in RO Physics.
