Dates to Remember

The Executive Committee has approved the following:

• IMPCB to hold
  (a) Part I examinations (General Medical Physics),
  (b) Part II (Specialty: Radiation Oncology Physics) examinations, and
  (c) Part II (Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiological Physics) examinations
  for individual medical physicists in December 2019.
• The Part I examinations (General Medical Physics) were held on Thursday, December 12, at Noon to 3:00 pm. The number of participants was 11.
• The Part II examinations were held on Friday, December 13 at 9:00 am to 12:00 noon for Radiation Oncology Physics. The number of participants was 13.
• The Part II examinations for Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiological Physics were held on Friday, December 13 at 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. The number of participants was 1.
• Deadline for expression of interest to take the exam:  October 7, 2019. 
• Deadline for submission of application: October 21, 2019.
• To get a visa invitation letter one has to apply well before the deadline.
