Postponement Guidelines

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic –

the hosting organization and IMPCB may jointly resolve to postpone the planned Exam Session if the situation becomes difficult for traveling. IMPCB will not take this decision lightly. Once the decision is made, IMPCB staff will email the approved candidates as soon as possible so that travel plans may be changed accordingly.

If you have been approved to take the exam,

  • you may choose to postpone your exam date by writing to the staff as late as three weeks before the exam date. You will receive a confirmation letter. You can keep your approval status for at least two years.
  • Please check the <Dates to Remember> webpage before making reservations for travel, and
  • if you have changed your email address since submitting file #02, please make sure to inform IMPCB your new email.

Note: The Policy applies to in-person Exam Sessions only. To switch to Online Examination options, one has to make a new application, and pay an additional fee charged by the examination provider.
